Durham Elementary is a Title I International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, an HISD IB Magnet Campus, and a Dual Language Academy located in the Shepherd Park Plaza neighborhood of Houston, Texas. Durham has 28 classrooms (Pre-K – 5) filled with energetic students learning to become future leaders.

 

The Durham Parent Teacher Association (PTA) supports our students with enrichment programs, cultural events, technology upgrades and campus beautification. Our goal is to create a well-rounded education for all.

 

Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and are constantly learning to apply IB Learner Profiles of being Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-Minded, Caring, Risk-Takers, Balanced and Reflective.
